Formed in October 2020, TADCO emerged from the merger of three state enterprises: the Fish Processing Company of Tobago (FIPCOT), the Tobago Cold Storage and Warehouse Facility (TCOSWAF), and the Tobago Cassava Products Limited (TCPL).
The goal: to strengthen Tobago’s agribusiness sector by reducing duplication, maximizing local resources, and creating value-added opportunities for farmers, fishers, and food producers across the island.

To be the leader of Tobago’s agri-business sector in a food-secure island, exporting a recognized eco-food brand of Tobago products.
At its core, TADCO focuses on increasing food security, supporting agro-processing, and developing sustainable market linkages.
Through its cold storage, fish processing, and packaging facilities, the company helps local producers maintain product quality, extend shelf life, and meet export standards, all crucial for a small-island economy that values self-reliance and resilience.
From cassava farine and plantain pancake mix to dasheen cereal and cassava waffle mix, TADCO’s expanding range of value-added products celebrates Tobago’s rich agricultural heritage while embracing innovation.
Each product tells a story of local ingredients transformed with care, connecting consumers to the island’s soil, farmers, and sustainable future.
